Default Who's Those Guys On The Card? Neptun Gum

Nothing earth shattering here folks. Just a modern card/sticker I haven't been able to figure out for years.

c. 2005 Neptun Gum from the Ukraine.

There were only around 7 stickers from this particular subset of this issue, as far as I could tell..........at least those were the only subjects I pulled out of two 100 count boxes, back in 2006 or so.

These were packaged, wrapped around a block of gum...similar to a "Bazooka Joe" issue.

A few of them were easy to identify, a few were absolutely a pain to narrow down, due to the photo quality and obscurity, but I finally did. This last one has been sticking in my craw for years.

This might sound weird, but from what I can tell, partly based on the research I did on some of the other cards, this was from a bout that likely took place around the middle of 2005, in Texas.

Also, the full set (as far as I can tell) for reference shown below.

I do believe other similar type stickers from the same region have surfaced since then, but I don't think they are part of this release.

There are at least three different series of these Neptun gum inserts and I found two other brands as well. I'll post scans one of these days.

Will be interested to see. I've seen the ones that looked like it was several different poses from the Klitschko's............might have been you that had them.

Here they are, two Neptun and two other brands

BTW, exploring the minutiae of Ukrainian gum stickers is both fascinating and pathetic...

Pretty sure it is from Hamed-Barrera. There are a few other Hamed-Barrera in the group.

Definitely Barrera. Tats on chest match up. Don’t think it’s Hamed. Gloves are wrapped differently. Might be Barrera / Morales 2. Have to look at it on something larger then my phone when I get a chance.
