Default REA question

I know I have to bid on an item before the initial bid period is over but my question is: if I am interested in several items do I have to place a bid on each individual item before the extended period starts or does getting into the extended period allow me to bid on any item regardless of whether or not I have a bid on that item already?

Thanks in advance

Yes you have to bid on specific items to be eligible to continue bidding on those items.

That's true of every auction house I can think of.

Sterling & Clean Sweep are the two exceptions I know about. At least as of the last time I remember checking, Sterling is one item in the entire auction. Clean sweep is each individual item, unless you bid on 10 or more items.

Hunt you can bid on anything at the end on their Live (Invaluable) auctons, by far the most fun way to close an auction in my opinion (not sure why they choose weekday mornings though). I tend to bid a lot more in these auctions when I see something going for a steal or as impulse buys.

(And yes their normal site is horrid)

As Johnny said to Ed McMahon on many occasions, "I did not know that."
