Picked up tonight, one of the greats who should be considered for the Hall. Ended career with several very good years in the OF.

I guess I have expanded to series and factory numbers from simple brands/colors. Here is my latest addition.

P.S. Sorry for the big size. I am not sure how to change that.

Greg,

Very cool Smokey Joe.

Chris,

Do you consider your Sovereign a miscut or a misprinted back? I'm asking because the front looks spot on so I don't see it as a miscut. Rather the back of the whole sheet was misprinted and they cut it anyways.

Nice pick up in either case.

Thanks,

AndyH

I've been wanting an Irwin Port. for a long time, glad to have one now...

Wouldn't Chris's Sovereign be a mis-print and not a mis-cut?

Thanks guys, Erick pointed this one out to me. I was also thinking that these likely are misprints vs miscust, somehow the sheet wasn't setup correctly in the printer.

I'm thinking maybe we have 2 Pick-Up threads per month, one for T206 Pick-Ups and another for all other cards. Which one do you think will have more replies at the end of the month. Maybe this one should be a poll question as well........

JimB - I'm not a T206 guy, but that run is amazing. Are there any (besides) a blank, that you are missing?

Thanks Doug,
I am missing black Lenox, American Beauty 460, and a couple Piedmonts and Sweet Caps that should not be tough. Before I was just going for brands, but have expanded to series and factory #s. THe Piedmont I do have is fact. 42 which is the only tough one among those. Having brown Lenox, Drum, and Uzit makes it feel downhill from here.

Here's one for you Phil (I think)...

Have always wanted a period Joe Jackson piece and liked supplements, so this one found it's way in to the collection. This supplement pictures all of the "Eight Men Out". Joe is in the first row, 2nd from the left.

I can see that logic to two threads, but honestly I enjoy having a thread filled with various cards.

I don't think there are as many T206 pickup posts as you might think. There may be more T206 pickup posts than any other single set/issue but I know in the September thread the non-T206 posts vastly out numbered T206s posts. I enjoy seeing all the pickups in a single thread.

Default Very happy to see this in the mail this morning

211 Breitenstein Front

211 Breitenstein Back

Number 211 in the rebuilt collection. So recent, I'm just posting the images the seller sent to me, as I haven't had a chance to bust him out yet.

Thanks! I love that pair on the T202. Took me a long time to find either one, but picked up Close Play at Third from a board member a year+ ago... the same person that introduced me to N54.. And now have em both

oldcardboard, two things:

1- I can't believe the name oldcardboard wasn't already taken, good job.

2- You have an eye for condition, screw grading eh?

Here's another pick-up of mine, the first OJ miscut I've been able to bid on, although I believe it's hand cut.
