Card has an OC qualifier, what should it have gone for? |

More wear on the bottom corners on the back, where the uneven edge is, suggests a potential trim. Who knows if it really is, but that would be a red flag to me. |

So you think PSA could've missed the trim? |

Bottom edge looks trimmed to me...or poorly cut at the factory because it's not square, and it's not diamond cut. That probably kept the price down. Still a very sharp card. |

How much do PSA8 T206 (no qualifiers) sell for these days (on average)? |

Fred -- you can go www.t-206.com and see what cards on ebay typically sell for in a given condition. Obviously it isn't perfect but I've found it to be good for an estimate (I only deal in low grade cards right now though). The few I looked up didn't have any value for a PSA 8, though. |

That website shows PSA 7s going in the $600-650 range. |

That's quite a cut on the bottom border...I don't know how that card got an 8 o/c. Someone may have gotten a deal alright...a RAW deal! |

Anonymity is only "not" allowed when that person is making strong accusations or comments towards something or someone. Merely being on the board anonymously is fine if the conversation is somewhat neutral. Another exception might be made if what the person is saying is nothing but factual and they prove what they are saying is true. In other words if someone points out a fraudulent auction, and says why it is, and it truly is fraudulent, then I am not sure we need to know who they are. It's a case by case situation. Overall, anonymity is somewhat frowned upon but there are exceptions which are fine. It's sort of another loose rule but the more controversial the statement the less anonymity is allowed, in general. I hope this explains our (us moderators) position. take care |

I wish everyone felt the same way as you do. I could use less drama and more cards, about now!! BTW, of course you seem like an intelligent guy/girl and I expect no such chicanery from you... |

The card went a little high for a PSA Authentic, based on the trimmed bottom border. Had it gone to SGC I would be willing to bet it would not have come back with a numerical grade. Not trying to diss the buyer because it is a beautiful card... |

at sgc they have a 2 tier system, first the cards gets graded and put into an sgc holder with the tab, then its looked over a 2nd time to make sure it looks right in the holder at the given grade. if psa had this system someone would have really looked twice before it went off to the shipping dept. |

Actually I don't see the OC qualifier. Cantering would be dead on if the rest of the card was there. |

Well I'm definitely glad I held back from bidding on it. Now I question one of my PSA "MC"s... Guess I'll stick with SGC from now on. Thanks guys. |
