Hmmmm.... A non-professional grader and bidder ID is kept private. I smell shill in the swill.

they're basically cutouts from magazines and newspapers, similar i believe to the Harper's Woodcuts from the 19th century. they make nice, inexpensive display pieces when framed - much cheaper than actual cards, and sometimes nicer looking - but they shouldn't be graded by some 7th rate fly-by-night grading company.

woohoo..i was right!

Looks pretty fishy to me...
a) Not a reputable grading company, look at his other auctions, prices
are very off for the "condition" the cards are supposedly in
b) Private Auction (very scary thing in the vintage world)
c) http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=paradisenights
d) http://1919blacksox.com/jackson3.htm

I'll put a post in network54 just in case, but i'm not inclined to go
after this piece...

Here's a neat piece:

Doesn't matter what grading company. It is a paper cut-out from a magazine and would be just as worthless in a PSA, SGC or any other holder. Fortunately, the larger companies are smart enough not to grade this toilet paper.

Yeah. I don't see how those scammers sleep at night, knowing they're being at the very least disingenuous. It seems like E-Bay could do something about that.

this is libertyforall buys and cuts out pictures of famous early players from real vintage mags all in the name of graded paper cut-outs. search posts for any additional info. he has been discussed here often and even came on board to defend himself.
