1957 American League Champions New York Yankee team signed Official American League baseball with 27 signatures including Mickey Mantle, Ford, Howard, Berra, Slaughter, Martin, Kubek, Larsen and more. There is no signature on the sweet spot of this baseball. The Casey Stengel signature on this ball is a clubhouse signature. Stengel, for some reason, did not like to sign Yankee team baseballs and his authentic signature almost never appears on a Yankee team ball. Most times there is not even a clubhouse Stengel on a Yankee baseball. Ball is clean, very nice color, strong signatures. There is a small nick in the ball touching the o in Ed Ford and one touching the B in Bob Grim. There are a couple of small nicks on the American League logo.
