Default As a Yanks fan...

Which would you rather have?

A low grade BVG A 1921 Babe Ruth Schapira Brothers "Over the Fence" that is trimmed on the edges

OR

A SCG 20 Joe DiMaggio 1936 R312 with writing on the back.

I may be able to pick one of them up in a trade. Two legendary Yanks. Not quite sure which I like better.

I am not really a Yanks fan but would pick the R312 because it's a better card, to me, and Dimaggio is Dimaggio (top tier HOF). Generally I might take Ruth but the Schapira card you mention isn't really a fave of mine (I owned a full box before). You can't go wrong with either choice though and it's only a matter of preference. Good luck with whatever you do.

Easily the DiMaggio. Much better looking card and I wouldn't mind the writing on the back as opposed to a card graded A.
