Does anyone have any 19th century newspaper articles, photos, scorecards, or other unique baseball items? I would love to see some scans.

Thanks,
Jay Kaplan

I just picked up this item at an estate auction. It is a large 1893 philadelphia based sports newpaper called the Sporting item. It has a couple of articles about baseball, which mention delahanty, ewing, comiskey, fred pfeiffer and others. The paper consists of a few pages, but I haven't gotten up the courage to take it out of its frame, and try to open it in fear of damaging it. When I do inspect it further, if it doesn't have any football content, it will be on the B/S/T page.
