32 years teaching a high school Marketing class with students earning credit for working in the afternoons, picture Welcome Back Kotter.
Loved the kids, even though some were a little rough around the edges.

Last year switched to an Online Based Academy for students who have tried home schooling or some other alternative education and it didn't work out. This program gives them a chance to get a diploma.

Also have coached Varsity basketball during the majority of those years as well as cross country, track and even swimming one year (No one drowned!!)

retired 16! years ago - ouch. School teacher (mostly K,1,2), assistant payroll manager @ Metropolitan Opera, and slave for Maxwell's Plum (think Warner Leroy and Tavern on the Green restaurant). I probably should never have stopped working as I'm a bit bored approaching 60 with hopefully a few more years to live..........

I have a job in hockey - it's a year round gig. It's mostly fun - but like most jobs - it has its downfalls (especially lately!)

On a rare Sunday off - and unrelated to this thread - here's a pic of "Big Dan" visiting his final resting place this afternoon:

Thanks so much, Jeff! I appreciate it!
I'm a big fan of early poster work, too... can't collect for lack of space, but I drool when I see something amazing... (like The Stenberg Brothers early Russian movie posters...)

Good for you, Ken! I'm glad that you're almost there. I know how hard rehab can be having gone through some pretty grueling rehab myself, and I have a lot of respect for your perseverance.

I'm a stock broker, but I've been out on LTD for about three years because of a back injury.

The job is rewarding, but my God, it can be stressful at times.

I own a waterwell drilling company. Been trying to retire. Stopped all advertising and unlisted my phone 5 years ago. I have been at least 5 months behind this whole time. No end in sight. Oh well the money is good, the work is just hard!
