Default O/T ....well, sort of - "I need it" thread

Since I don't post too many off topics I thought it would be fun, on a light board day, to have a front page thread of what we are looking for, to add to our collections. I know we have the BST pages and this is generally strictly prohibited but.......We are a family and maybe someone that doesn't normally find something will be able to....Just post a few needs if you would like to...I will start off .

Any 1920 Zeenut with coupon to complete my Z w/coupon run.
I need 4 different 1916 W-Unc Big Heads to complete the set.
I need about 15 type 1 Contentneas to complete that set.
Too many D303's to count....have about 15 of each set, General and Mothers.

Thanks much and hope someone finds something they need....(this thread shouldn't be used to sell cards, it is for finding stuff for our collections....and of course you can buy or trade to get them)

Wanted Dead or Alive
Whilst many of the players represented on East Honolulu’s Toughest Want List are long deceased, the record prices we are prepared to pay for pristine examples of these American heroes will enable our sellers to “enjoy the good life.” As East Honolulu’s most discriminating type card collector, we seek the best examples extant of cards from the series listed below.

WWG Ice Kings: #57 Thompson, # 71 Chabot http://tinyurl.com/5rxkal pw=aloha

T209-1 Contentnea Color: Armstrong, Bourquoise, Gilmore, Lane http://tinyurl.com/a3vwtv pw=aloha

Mutoscope Follies: Current Event, Double Trouble, Foot Loose

T212 Vancouver & Victoria: Breen, Erickson, Sugden [Vanc 1910]; Adams, Brinker, Jensen, Erickson, Lewis, Swain [Vanc 1911]; Ward [Vic 1911] http://tinyurl.com/yg5hne8 pw=aloha

N99 Battle Scenes: Black Horse Cavalry at Bull Run, Bombardment of Fort Sumter, Federal Advance at Bull Run, Lee at Malvern Hill, Pickett's Charge Gettysburg, Ram Albemarle, Sheridan's Ride http://tinyurl.com/yjsnvxe pw=aloha

T206 New York Giants: need 29 of 52 http://tinyurl.com/ycpz3n2 pw=aloha

Sets listed in order they were started. Would love especially to pau the IK's and the Contentneas.

Default signed T206 Cards

...Or really any signed pre-1917 card, even if I already have it. I would trade my T206 Lionel Carter Plank for a signed T206 of Ty Cobb.

Default T206's

I need an AB 460 HOFer that I don't have (let me hear about any) in VG-VGEX grade.

I need GOOD examples of Eddie Collins with SC Factory 25, Soveriegn, American Beauty (really need this one), Polar Bear backs.

This thread worked pretty well for me last time.

Thanks,
Bob

Default I really need this one.

I have been picking up loose change from the sidewalk and saving aluminum cans so I can purchase a low grade Demmitt or O'hara St Louis T206.

Seems like I always get sidetracked. I've got my eye on the Cobb Felt on Leon's website. Maybe someone else will buy it so I can keep my focus on the St Louis cards.

Good idea for a thread. As for my list, what don't I need?

I may not be able to purchase any of my needs immediately with the holidays coming. It would be great if I could generate an inventory of what is available, however. Lower grade (p/f/g) cards are fine with me.
  • PC742-1 Jake Stahl (my #1 need - this would make a nice gift for myself )
  • E103 Harry Lord
  • E96 Frank Arellanes
  • E220 (any Red Sox example)
  • E-UNC Lou Gertenrich (any Red Sox example)
  • R309-2 Red Sox team card

Many of you already know ....I'm still hoping to find any of the final D381's I need:
Ty Cobb, Larry Cheney, Joe Gedeon, Hugh Jennings, Otto Miller, Chas. J. Tesreau, W. Traggresser, and Fred Toney (for friend) plus others for upgrades and different variations.

Other than that I still am picking up 1915 Cracker Jacks that I need. Plus some lesser expensive Ruth and Yankee pre war cards. etc.....

I have a big list, but tops right now are:

E94 Cicotte (any color), PSA or SGC (looking for VG, but a real nice G could do)
T207 Joe Wood, PSA or SGC in G to VG
T204 Ramly Red Sox commons (except Donahue), prefer PSA
T205 Heinie Wagner and Clyde Engle, PSA or SGC in VG to EX
E107 Red Sox player...anyone...prefer SGC
E90-1 Tris Speaker, prefer SGC in G to VG

And for my E92 Dockman set, numerous cards still needed, looking for PSA in 2 to 4 grades.

That would do for now!!!

I've been looking for a W600 in GD (2) condition. I had one with a stain on it that I sold a while ago. Would really love to find a better conditioned one.

Also have been wanting a D304 in GD to VG for a while now. They don't come up for sale very often.

Ultimate want is an E90-1 Speaker, T3 Addie Joss, T206 Uzit without back damage, and M101 rare backs.

Great thread.

Anyone have a PSA/DNA slabbed Tommy Bridges auto on a 33 Goudey, 34 Goudey, 39-40-41 Playball, V300, or Diamond Star?
