Default Jewish boxing collection

Philadelphia boxing promoter J Russell Peltz owned a really nice Jewish boxing memorabilia collection. Does anyone know what happened to it and/or which auction house he consigned it to ? Thanks.

I wasn't aware Russell ever sold his boxing collection. He's done the part-time dealer thing through the years, mostly with the stuff he promoted and had duplicates of. He's also set up at the Boxing Hall of Fame show on a regular basis. He was never really eager to sell his stuff though, I don't think.

He generally priced his stuff in the "I'll sell it if you really, really, really want it" range.

He would wheel and deal trades though, for stuff he wanted.
