With ten of the twelve Texas Hold'em Tournaments of the Old Cardboard 2008 Series now complete, Rob Dewolf (wolfie51sb) is holding on to a commanding lead. Brett Hardeman (BrettHardemn) has now pulled into second place, still eight points down from first. Rounding out the top five prize winning positions are Steve Murray (Zeenut), Andrew Adaboi (PDXPCL), and Scott Brockelman (sb2charlie). With several others only a point or two down, positions 2 through 5 remain very much up for grabs.

REMINDER: The November and December tournaments are each moved up one week (from the fourth Tuesday to the third Tuesday of the month) because of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The Series Leaderboard, updated through the October tournament, has been posted on the Old Cardboard website at http://www.oldcardboard.com/misc/poker/2008/2008-leaderboard.asp.

The November tournament (Old Cardboard #11 on the PokerStars private tournament list) is set for tonight (Tuesday, November 18). It is PokerStars tournament #120103379; password for access is m116m116. Entry fee is $11 ($10 goes directly to the tournament cash prize pool and $1 to PokerStars). Games begin at 7:30 pm Texas Time (20:30 EST). See the Old Cardboard website for Full Details of the 2008 Series. All vintage card collectors are welcome to participate. We hope to see you there and wish the best of luck to all participants.

win a bracelet if he wins? If so, maybe something pretty like a charm bracelet with a Nap Lajoie head or something on it.

Made it to the final four,,, in 2nd place.
I have At suited,,, call a pre flop raise and the flop is txx.
Pre flop raiser is chip leader (7K), he goes all in with about 1K more than me.
I call immediately.
He turns over AK off suit.
Turn is Q, River is J.
Sometimes the only luck you have is bad. sad.gif
