Default One of the cooler messed up vintage cards I have seen, and it is not T206!

Thought I would share this one that I spotted on ebay. You get three HOF-ers (Mel, Gabby and Gabby) for the price of one:

Agreed! That is a cool looking card tho...

I can see paying double of what it's worth, but no where near what they are asking for.

I only have two Goudeys - saved Critz because of the back and McFayden so I could participate in 'Show your beater' threads:

I like the freaks ..

They aren't cheap as they are widely collected. This one was around $425...not too long ago.

Leon, that was my card I had SGC slab & then gave it to Brian for Sterling.
Was happy w/ the hammer price as I had no idea what it would go for.
Wonder why SGC didn't list Joe's as a Ghost Image?

All those repeating images reminds me of this bit of movie nonsense:

[Thinking to himself]

Ted Striker: I've got to concentrate...

[his thoughts echo]

Ted Striker: concentrate... concentrate... I've got to concentrate... concentrate... concentrate... Hello?... hello... hello... Echo... echo... echo... Pinch hitting for Pedro Borbon... Manny Mota... Mota... Mota...

And proof that Topps could mess up just as badly as Goudey:

SGC is very strange about using the word 'Ghost'. I didn't have the required relationship with them to get it done, but others have had no problems.

I don't think it's relationships as much as catching them on the right day. I get turned down more often than not. And mine above was bought that way. Overall SGC makes good decisions and is conservative from what I have seen.
