Welcome to the board Rolando, glad you able to join the group!

For those who don't know, Rolando is the main man when it comes to Cuban baseball cards and collectibles, many of the items we see here in the States has been in his personal collection at one time or another.

Being a Cuban Baseball collector I have been fortunate to trade many emails with Rolando and also be one of the first to own his new Cuban Baseball card guide, filled with wonderful background information and complete checklists of the sets from the early 1900's in the late 50's.
The book has not been massed produced as of yet and there has only been a few copies made but hopefully he can garner some interest, especially from the Cuban and Negro baseball collectors that are on this board and see if that leads to something bigger.

Rolando - Ese libro esta increible! Creo qu necesitas tratar de reproducir mas para venta. Si solo hay 10, la historia no se puede pasar a la jente.

Hi Brad, Don Zimmer played in Cuba in the 1951-52 seasons with Cuenfuegos and 1952-53 with Cienfuegos and Marianao, this is the only known Zimmer card, in my collection I have some of his photos and also balls signed by him, with the teams he played in Cuba. Regards.

I have a question about Kevin Connors.

He played with the Club Almendares in 1948. He later went on to be a famous actor staring in the TV show The Rifleman.

He is pictured below in this Cuban baseball program that I have from 1949-50. Is there any other Cuban issues from the time that he played baseball in Cuba that feature Kevin Connors?

I appreciate any information that you or other board members can give me.

Aceb # 12 although this collection is not numbered, but I have the original photos with which the cards were printed. Kevin in my catalog # 2, on cards and postcard: Trinidad and Hno. Rollos Ansco, Sol de Oro, Newton Estape 8 "× 10", all of the above is Connor in photos where he is alone. Wanted to share this as I recently picked this up (thanks Ryan C). 1946-47 Sensacion Premium, pretty large 7 3/4 by 11 3/4 . Only saw one sold before on Hakes that was graded, but that was trimmed down.

Just love anything Dihigo. Based on what I found online they were part of a set of 27 from a periodical.
