This is my wheelhouse….the raw Lee is the toughest in the group (N419). Much tougher than the fabled T206 Wagner as a comparison.

Wow, Richard. Those are great some non-sports cards. I love the Edison and I know the foldout Declaration of Independence T70 card is tough.

From what I have been seeing, the N76s of the most notable subjects have really taken off in price recently.

Not a cabinet photo, but a cabinet card with a color art picture. One of my favorite types of cards aesthetically, they usually look gorgeous and are blessedly cheap.

Not the best shape, but a relatively tough card and when I submitted a nicer one to SGC they min. sized it bizarrely.

Not a cabinet card, but a trade card in cabinet size, and readily found. Dewey was an American hero at this time.

From what year do you think the Dewey cards are?

They are usually listed as 1899, but that is the date the photograph was taken, not the year the card was issued. The best date method is to probably dive into the store records. In 1900 they had almost 200 stores, the front says 225 so it’s probably c. 1901-1905. A&P went out of business just a few years ago and was the worlds largest retailer for a while, so it probably wouldn’t be too hard to dive into the primary sources and better pinpoint.
