Stupid question . . .what constitutes a type card? Text on back?

It's like obscenity, Steve: I can't explain it but I know it when I see it.

I can sort of imagine, but what is meant by a Type card?

Over the years I have met a very few " Type Collectors " The first one I met had a goal of collecting one card or "Type " from every baseball set before 1920. He was very different from most of the other collectors who collected sets of cards. He sold or traded all his doubles in pursuit of his goal.
Another subset of the true Type collector were the collectors who kept Type albums. I knew quite a few collectors that did this but very few that identified themselves as type collectors. |

asphaltman, Dave Fast, posted a 1923 Fleer card earlier. The W515s are not hard to find but finding them with a Fleer back is pretty tough. And I think it is still unknown if all the W515s can be found with a Fleer back.
