Taco Bell kills my "ancient" stomach.

Author (5 books) and syndicated sports columnist in Canada.

I specialize in boxing and hockey and do a lot of my writing while munching buffalo jerky in the frozen wasteland of rural Alberta. They tried introducing Taco Bell here a few years back, but the little chihuahua brought in for the grand opening froze solid.

IT pseudo-professional for more years than I'd like to admit. Professional because they pay me ... pseudo because like many in this business, my training is elsewhere. In my case classical Geophysics.

Presently to be found supporting and evolving parts warehouse management systems for a Fortune-n company. "n" is small, really small.

We don't do tacos either. I'd wager dollars to doughnuts (or rare backs) that our equipment is involved in the whole store/prep/sell cycle, though.

Very interesting thread!

Writehooks: where specifically in the "frozen wasteland of rural Alberta" do you reside? My wife grew up in Okotoks/Aldersyde area. I went to U of Calgary. We go back once or twice every year to visit the rellys in Lethbridge. Nice part of the world.

I remove native trees and understory plant material($)and replace it($)with plants that are native to Florida and South America for people who live on Long Island. I then meet with the client to determine why the plants died($), then remove the non native material($)and depending on the client replace with native plant material($).

Edited for spelling.

I live in Vegreville, 100 clicks east of Edmonton. If you're familiar with Alberta's series of "world's biggest" tourist attractions, ours is the world's biggest pysanka (Ukrainian Easter egg). The best one, of course, is at Glendon: the world's biggest perogie, suspended on the world's biggest fork – right in the middle of town ...

Dave, In some countries they are considered sacred (I'm fairly certain). Hey, lobster are scavengers, but I doubt there'd be much commotion if they were slinkin' around a Long John Silvers after lock-up.

a Carpet & FLooring store owner with hopes to distribute the best name brands nationwide with guaranteed prices. I offer the lowest price in the state of Michigan currently....what a challenge.

If I get this going to where I want , Iam going to try to pursue comedy acting with a goal of hosting the "Academy Awards" within a 3-5 year span once noticed. Then to create a variety show second to none for all to watch. Todays TV is very boring.

I design electronic circuits for satellites and space probes. I did the wheel controls for the Mars rovers and the antenna mechanism control for the Cassini probe that went to Saturn. A few years ago I did a motor that removed monkey pee for an orbiting monkey. Right now I am working on balancing circuits for lithium-ion batteries.
