Default T3 Waddell

Got this raw a couple months back, finally had it graded by SGC. It might not be rare or expensive, but for me it is the centerpiece (for now) of my collection and I was excited to finally acquire it:

Not as impressive as many entries here, but the last 2 items represent pretty sizable additions to my HOF collection....

As an E91 set collector I am drooling over that Plank..but what is up with the upper left corner? Maybe it is the scan...

Quite literally, it's notched. The line on it is straight enough that my paranoid collector side wonders if it wasnt slightly dinged and then almost surgically trimmed earlier in life. But......I still fell in love with it enough that I had to plunge.

Rich V,
Just checked out your website.
Nice collection. Who is the one player missing?
Saw the josh Gibson card. It's very nice, but makes me cringe a little. First off is what did they find of his game used as I imagine that stuff is incredibly rare. Second, who exactly is the idiot who came up with the idea of cutting up uniforms and bats to put on cards and has he been suitably punished for his crime?

BTW very nice pickups.

Best,
Mark

Thanks.

Andy Cooper is the Negro League player Im missing. He's super scarce and to be found only in Cuban issued cards from the 20s.

The Gibson card actually makes me laugh. They cut up Forbes Field seats taking "game used" to another definition. For the most part, I frown on GU cards too, but no matter how bad the idea, I'll still admit to enjoying my DiMaggio (1/16).

I've been looking for just the right card of Babe Ruth for years and I finally found it. It's missing the easel on the back, which is the only reason I could afford it. It's fits right into my collection of perfectly flawed cards ...

Been wanting a Delong typecard. Thanks to Rob D. for this peach.

Have been wanting a 1938 Goudey typecard, too. Picked this one up off eBay and am also awaiting the text version of Vosmik.

Last but not least, scored this Titus. Has the same crease as my Franken-avatar. How about that!

David: I like your McDonald card. Very original! If you play for Network 54, then what does the P on the uniform stand for?

P.S. I think I used to own that Delong Grove card.
