I am up to 133/520. Built a good checklist to track percentages: 25% of 520, 28% of HOF cards, 24% of SLers. I have put together my own estimate of the total cost, and I am 21% of the expected cash. As time has passed, I get less and less excited about O’Hara/Demmit St Louis so it may be that I do 518. Anyhow, here are some of the better pickups so far. Thank you to many on this board who have sold me some fairly priced cards.

Just crossed off a bunch after a crazy summer, I am at 504 with some spendy cards in my future! That's the fun part of the hunt!

Set #2 for me (#93 on your list) can be removed. I got it to 520 and decided I didn’t need 2 sets. It’s on its way to a new home now. My 680 is great and better than ever!!

125 for me, most for a raw binder. 12 slabs for a Boston Red Sox case

Taking a break now! Unsure if I’ll go 520…but I’m young!

Everybody's updated!

P.S. Troy, you still have a trambo (3) set on the list with 30 cards. Should I remove that one? Lemme know.

Thanks for checking. I probably have more than 30 doubles but please remove that one, too! Appreciate you keeping me on the straight and narrow....haha!

That's the sole reason for my existence.

Everybody is (should be) up to date. Let me know if you find another card in your sofa....or the neighbor's sofa (even better).

Since I’m not a set collector I never really thought about my monster number, but as I’m digging through the spread sheet I decided to put it together.

Current Monster number is 90.

Monster HOFer Number is 72.

Master HOFer Monster Number is 103.

Current Master Monster Number 127!

Thanks,
Bob

Looking at the list, I was at 306 in January 2022. Bump me up to 318 with the arrival of Jimmy Sheckard today.

I guess the 2025 goal would be adding about 20 or 30 cards.

Looks like the last update (and last post , AND last activity of any type) by Bob, the Monster Number caretaker, was almost 9 months ago. Hopefully all is well in Monster land...perhaps if we don't hear back from him after a month or two, someone else can man the helm? Hate to see Frank's creation wither on the vine. I would do it, but I am already overwhelmed with the responsibilities of manhandling two similar competing, and some might say, superior threads (the E90-1 Kraken and T205 EGGS). And I don't think Frank would want his legacy to tarnish under the control of such a rapscallion such as myself.

So perhaps my little missive above will get things rolling again.

I would be willing to manage the Monster Number list. Frank started the original thread around the same time I joined Net54. I've followed it (and this one) ever since.

I don't claim to be the best person for the job; however, I've got the time and enthusiasm.
