Very nice. Carlton is a ridiculously underrated pitcher in his time if you look at his accomplishments.

Agreed. Pitchers are generally second fiddle in the hobby. Chicks dig the long ball.

Even among pitchers, Lefty gets overlooked. His decade-plus media silence kept him largely out of the spotlight. As difficult as it for some people to imagine, Steve Carlton flatly refused to give interviews. This likely diminished his popularity outside of Philadelphia. Lucky for me, I grew up in Philly during Carlton's time there.

Candidly, I don't want people to look at his accomplishments more closely...at least, not until after I've finished this little run.

Yeah at some point in 1973, after his amazing '72 unanimous Cy Young season - he got pissed at the media and just decided to flat quit talking to them. Imagine how much more popular he would have been had the press been in his court for most of his career?

Thanks!

And they look small compared to the window in the one touch because these are vintage card sized one touches. Love the way PC Cards look in a nice one touch!
