Yeah, not much sex appeal with this card, but with this Concepcion I complete my 1973 set, and now have all the sets completed from 1973-1980.

Starting to put together a set of 1969 Topps. My first venture into the 60's.

Not vying for Pickup of the Month, but this is still an important card for my Top 100 display, in progress. 81 down...19 to go!

Congratulations on your progress and be sure to let us see the cards framed if you still decide to go in that direction.

Definitely still the plan. Here is the current Top 50, restricted to 1933-1964. Once I get my final 19 cards, will expand to two frames and cover 1933-1980.

I particularly like some of the mini-runs shown here. On the top row, Frisch and Hornsby are neighbors and were in real life traded for each other. And starting the next row, what an amazing Big Three for the NY Giants! Also really enjoy the 1939 PB Joe D and Dickey side by side.

Nice display Jason.

I am probably the odd man out but I like the 1964 Topps cards at the bottom the most.

Great display Jason! The Paige and the Hubbell are two that are very high on my want list.

Default 1964 New arrivals

Here are a few of my January new arrivals. Obviously, I'm into oddball variations. Anyone ever seen the Phillies team with missing letters? It's rough, but interesting.

For a long time, the 1957s were my favorite. But now that I've added the Diamond Stars, that's my new favorite run.

As an aside, I had to crack open 6-7 slabs for this display. I can definitely say BVG are the hardest and scariest to open. Was scared to death I was going to kill the card. And when it finally popped, still had the soft plastic case to slice with only a hair's width to spare. Survived it though.

Hubbell has so many nice cards. For me, this Diamond Stars and the 1933 Sport Kings one top the list. Saw both around the same time for around the same price but chose the DS mainly since the SK seller seemed really sketchy.

Well this one could have gone badly!! With about 2 min to go, I meant to bid $11.49 but accidentally bid $1149. Couldn't find a cancel or undo, so just crossed my fingers things didn't get crazy. In the end, paid about $5 more than I wanted to, but could have been worse. And now only 18 cards to go for my Top 100.
