Go to T206resourse.com and check under CHECKLIST. They have a Searchable Database that will allow you to enter Cobb and search each card for all backs.

Awesome cards everyone.

Jamie, I never get tired of seeing your Cobb run. Those last few backs are insane.

Default Best Cobb!

Does anyone think it's weird that I'm obsessed with a player who died almost 20 years before I was born???

I'm hoarding Cobbs but my 1914 Cracker Jack and T3 are my favorites.

Loving me some more here---not to mention those 33 Goudeys of Ruths, and a Gehrig and some Ted Williams and of course the Mick 51 peeking over on the right side. The on the left side what seems to be some t206s with a Nolan ryan and maybe a 55 koufax?
Love to see those as well!!!
I been playing with the idea of getting the blue pastel Cobb to go with my 4 Cobb run i'm pursuing. Nice head shot and blue background. I doubt i ever get a CJ Cobb tho. Nice bold red color it has.

I have had a hankering to buy a Cobb for 5 months now. Finally splurged on my first. It's someone else's until it gets in my hand, but I'm excited! It's in a postal vehicle somewhere. Decided on the 1921 exhibit that I can display next to my '21 Speaker exhibit. My wife is making me rob Peter to pay Paul in order to finance it.

I got one of these when i was a little kid. I had no idea what it was but I knew Cobb was a legend and it was my first card of him. It was pretty rough so I replaced it years later. Two more from my childhood:

These were how i learned baseball history.

Jamie

Your VICTORY Cobb is sensational......and, " maddening " is in the past, this card stays with you

My favorite Cobb for several reasons is the elusive SOVEREIGN 460.

A little story about that card:
Some 20 years ago I bought a common player Victory on eBay for a couple hundred. When the seller & I communicated afterward he said he had “a bunch” of Victories. Turned out to be 17 of them including Johnson (pitching), with back damage, and the Cobb you now have. I bought all 17 for $5k, they were ungraded and the seller lived in New Orleans! I overnighted a cashier’s check. When the seller shipped them to me the USPS lost them for 2 weeks! When I finally got them I took them to the next Chicago Sun Times show to have them graded and Pete Calderon was at the SGC booth & he was blown away by the group. I had sold Pete an e107 Cy Young not long before that (thru eBay as well) but it was our 1st time meeting face to face. I remember picking up the cards a day or 2 later and I couldn’t believe the Cobb only got a 2, besides the paper rub on upper right border it’s a very strong card! Not long after that Pete went on to work at Mastronet and I flipped the group of Victories to Terry Knouse (my ex wife wanted new windows for our house! Doh!). Not long after that I got divorced and the house with the new windows was sold. Too funny yet so sad!

Great great card! Much nicer than the other SGC 2 that sold in REA some years later.

Great cards in this thread and this Victory is one of, if not the, nicest of all.

Here is another Cobby. Love the low grade from the "opinionators."

This red Cobb with a PIEDMONT #42 back is a real beauty....however, it is not a real T206. But, it sure is a darn good reprint.

. .

And, here are some of the real Cobb's in my collection......my favorite Cobb card is this AMERICAN BEAUTY........

Here's a yellow Cobb with the super rare Challenge Butter back.
2nd attachment is a Type 1 photo of the House that Cobb built.

Happy Sunday!

I think there's more Cobbs per capita here than anywhere on the planet. Adding my humble contribution.
