I'm trying to identify all of the signed T206 Marquards out there in hobbyland. If you have one that is not featured here (or if you have a scan of one that is not here) can you please send it my way, or post it here? I will add it to the composite in this post and update the thread.

I know very little about autographs, but to me it looks like there is a huge amount of variability among those signatures. Is this because he signed over the course of a long life?

While I have owned many of them at one time or another, I only own one of each pose currently.

Ol' Rube must have been having a tough day...got a little confused and signed it twice! Or maybe he wanted this one to be twice as valuable...

In all seriousness, it looks like someone tried to forge his signature, failed, and then tried again. I bought this one on ebay with no expectation of it being an authentic signature; I just needed it for my collection and the price was right (i.e., cheap).

It is an authentic T206 at least. Back is Sov 150 with some paper loss. For me, the "signature(s)" just add character.

It would fit into my collection perfectly, for sure. The problem is one of valuation. Even if Jeff was interested in selling or trading it, Marquard signed index cards are a dime a dozen. I'm certain I couldn't offer anything close to what it's worth to him.

[October 9, 2018] Starting to slow down a bit on new discoveries, but Clean Sweep has number 58 ending tomorrow night.

[November 26, 2018] Evidence uncovered by Manny (net54 id: SetBuilder) shows that this Marquard is a forgery.
