When Terry Forster played with the Dodgers, he lived down the street from my friends. We used to go knock on his door and ask his wife if Terry could come out and play with us. He almost always did, he would come out and throw the ball around, or he would take us down to the beach and rent us Boogie Boards. Really a nice guy, and funny as could be. Three little kids walking around wearing plastic batting helmets on our heads hanging out with by far the worlds best pitcher in all of baseball ever (at least to us). So yeah, my favorite baseball player. If you are too young to remember, there was a thing with David Letterman where Letterman called him a "fat tub of goo," which is why my title on this.
