1958 Omaha Cardinals Team Issue
Sorry, I guess I should've been more clear!
It's a 1958 Omaha Cardinals Team Issue card of the legendary Bob Gibson. I had been searching for one for about 11 years now and couldn't be happier with the one I picked up. I was surprised at the relatively small size and thickness of the card stock, as I had imagined that it would be more "photo-like" in size and thickness. I was wrong on both fronts!! The seller later e-mailed me the following: "this very card was on display earlier this summer when Bob Gibson's statue at Omaha's Werner Park was presented. Bob commented that he only remembered seeing one other and that was many years ago!"

These two are a HUGE pick up for me. They may not be world beaters, but they represent the last two cards I needed to complete the 1957 set!
With that set complete I now only need to finish the 1958 set (38 cards) before I have every base set back to 1954.

Great Robinson bank, never seen one of those before. Still chipping away at my ' 61 set - down to 11.
