Welcome to the board !!
Great story as well, thanks. And, nice cards (love the Uzit). I say keep the collection & learn as much as you can about the cards, you will probably soon find the passion that your Grandfather had for them- and then there is no turning back ![]() But, if for some reason the bug doesn't bite you, you can always sell on the BST, an auction house, or ebay. Thanks again- Sincerely, Clayton |

Yeah, I agree completely. I have seen it so many times I can recite just about all of the dialogue. When it comes on it's almost like visiting with old friends...

Love The Quiet Man, it is my all-time favorite. Twenty plus years ago when we found out we were having a daughter we wanted a good, solid Irish name so we naturally picked Mary Kate for Maureen O'Hara's Mary Kate Danniher!
You have to love Victor McLaglen in the film. He once fought a six round exhibition against Jack Johnson right after Johnson won the heavyweight crown! |

There is a great PC of McLaglen and Johnson just before their bout. Don't have it...maybe some day. Here is my favorite McLaglen card
![]() as long as we're talking John Wayne and The Quiet Man... ![]()
