Default Delongs and T5

I love the Boston Garter and CJ Cobb. Great cards. I picked up these items in the last 2 auctions:

Lionel Carter's 1933 Delong set (Combining my favorite set from the 1930s with the connection to Lionel Carter makes this my favorite set):

Eddie Collins T5

Dan,
They're British so they like to mark their spot like a good dog if you know what I mean. The ever so slight oil leak occasionally but other than that, no. I have owned an MGB since 1975 so you have to learn how to work on them. Once you get the electrical issues worked out, they are a labor of love.

Got this from Adam M. on the BST...I think this is #89 or 90 in my set. Card by card is the way to go!

Edited to add that this is also my 20th Cubs card in the set.

Love the Felsch and that Matty.

Jason, You waited 86 years for a title... One measily month and a few days, to a BoSox fan should be a joy.

Rhett - congrats! Would you mind educating us? outside of the already tough D350 back - what makes this one special?

Hiya Jack - yuppers, it's the same pic; someone has a Susini up on Ebay now of the same pic, but I passed on it due to condition - I'm pretty sure if you do a search, you'll see it come up. Personally, I just thought it was one heck of a cool card and couldn't pass it up

Thanks Doug...It has a small impact blow on the back that has caused a minor "tear" on front, but no creases and fairly sharp corners. I think it is such an iconic image of Matty. I had been watching these for a while and finally knew I would be satisfied with this one. Someday when I'm rich...I'll upgrade...lol.
