I've got an oversized 1891 Boston team cabinet image. The photographer is Conly of Boston. It includes HOF'ers Duffy and Brouthers. Overall size is about 11 x 14 and the image is about 10 x 12. It's in nice condition. Written neatly at the bottom of the mat, in period brown ink, is "1891". I'm asking $3500

I'm also still looking for 19th century professional team images, scorebooks and important baseball-related manuscript items.

Rob

Looking to put together a run of B18 felts just with catcher poses. Especially interested in Steve O'Neill Cleveland, and the tougher brown and red infield felts of Gowdy & Whaling of the Boston Braves.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Patrick

I have an extra t206 Overall hands at waist with an Old Mill back. Is id probably G+ to VG-. I am looking for anything to add to my player set. Trade does not need to involve another t206. Only requirements for cards I want is that there is no distracting crease thru the face. Back damage and paper loss are fine.

Jay

First off, I wanted to comment on how nicely this thread has worked for me the past several months. Thanks to all those who've read and/or responded to my posts thus far. I've had some very good luck and positive responses to my ads offering to buy or sell cards.

Anyway, I'm not sure how many of you collect Postwar cards, but I had some nice rookie cards I was looking to sell or possibly trade. Cards I'm willing to move include:

1951 Bowman Mantle PSA 4
Mays 51 Bowman BVG 4
55 Topps Clemente PSA 7

Scans of these and some others I might be willing to part with can be seen here: http://www.geocities.com/redmaccie/Postwar.html
Feel free to Email me if interested.

Thanks,
Brian

Ok, it appears that 10 minutes after I posted that previous ad regarding the Mantle, Mays, etc....my site crashed. If anyone wants a list of the cards from that page or to see any scans, please feel free to email me.

Thanks again,

Hi all,

I'm looking to sell the remainder of my t205 collection, most are in a presentable collector grade (between g and vg) with some better and a few worse. There are 19 cards in total, including 10 HOFers! I'd like to move these as a group, and won't be looking to make a profit from what I payed for them originally. I can only accept paypal at this time. Please email me at fisherboy7@hotmail.com to discuss a price.

Scans of most of the cards can be seen on my website: www.geocities.com/mc_big_ben/tobacco_cards

the cards are as follows:

T205 Bell (vg. AB back)

T205 Bresnahan (fr)

T205 Chance (gd)

T205 Clarke (g-vg)

T205 Collins (mouth open) (fr-gd)

T205 Collins (closed) (pr)

T205 Doolan (pr-fr)

T205 Duffy (g-vg)

T205 Dygert (g-vg)

T205 Ford (white cap variation, vg)

T205 Frick (gd)

T205 Griffith (vg)

T205 Hanford (gd)

T205 Mathewson (g-vg, presents well)

T205 Marquard (vg+)

T205 Mcgraw (g-vg)

T205 Oldring (vg)

T205 Paskert (gd)

T205 Shean (ex)

Frank Chance t-206 Yell Port gai 7.5 995.00
Cheif Bender t-206 Port sgc 84 2000.00 ( undergraded )w/o exaggeration or whining.

Also have a Wagner throwing Mello Mint, only one Ive ever seen, have come across 4 batting's. This one is not graded , I will not send it in ! Anyone that has owned Mello Mints will know how flimsy they are, they should NEVER BE TOUCHED !
Bought it from a very nice guy ( Ronald Rice ) 15 yrs ago as a EX-MT and it is at least a solid ex + , He and I , sadly for him ...will be bonded by this card forever. He goes by the taxman or something like that.

I do not really want to sell it , but ...it can be yours for 6995.00 .1000x scarcer than a t-206 Wagner , but te he ...I'll trade for one heads up !

Thanks all and email w/ a phone number if you like . Serious replies only !
Every card including Wagner guaranteed satisfaction......Thank you !

Hi all,

I'm looking for a d304 Cobb in any condition, preferrably lower grade. I am willing to buy outright, or work out some sort of trade. My collection is available for viewing at the address at the bottom of this message. Hopefully some nice bait is waiting there for anybody with one of these babies for trade!

I have an autographed 1960 Fleer Jimmie Foxx available for sale or trade. The card itself is perfectly centered left to right, with slightly more bottom border than top border. The signiture is a 9 and in black ink at the dead center of the. I have an LOA from Richard Simon sports, but would provide a refund if it doesn't pass a reputable service that is mutually agreed on.

My email is Gecklund311@yahoo.com

Just acquired a massive collection of Sweet Cap Pins and Domino Discs more than 600 to be exact. Hurry, supplies are limited. There were also 40 1932 PR2 and PR3 Orbit Gum Pins.

I still have to go through them and inventory to know exactly who is there.

I am looking to buy any or all Wally Schang material. Please e-mail with anything you may have. Mid to lower grade cards are fine.

[For anyone interested, my interest in Wally follows. Wally has assumed somewhat legendary status in this office. In particularly heated telephone negotiations with a certain inverted corporation [see Lou Dobbs and exporting jobs], the certain corporation and its lawyers asked what our position was on a particularly difficult point.

One of the people on the conference call in my office stared around and saw a BF-2 card of Wally. Seizing the moment, he responded to their question by stating that we would have to consult with Wally Schang and get back to them.

They murmered their agreement with our course of action and the point was never raised by them again. We credit it all to the efforts of Wally, a truly underrated ballplayer.]

I've always wanted a genuine period Ruth card (i.e., not a 1960 fleer - something mid-1910's to mid-1930's), and am looking now to buy one. I am trying to find something on the more affordable side (as Ruth goes), so please no offers to sell me a PSA 5 Goudey. I will be happy to entertain any issue in any condition. Also, if you send me an e-mail, please don't send a scan as my hotmail account can't handle large attachments right now. Please write me with what you are offering, and I'll write you back with a different e-mail addy for the scan if I'm interested.

Thanks so much!
Gary

I'm also interested in W-series strip cards. I will be happy to entertain any W-series cards in any condition, but would prefer ones that are potentially gradeable. I'm primarily looking for HOF players, but will consider more common players, especially if someone is looking to sell a group of cards. I'm also open to complete strips if they don't cost a fortune.

If you send me an e-mail, please don't send a scan as my hotmail account can't handle large attachments right now. Please write me with what you are offering, and I'll write you back with a different e-mail addy for the scan if I'm interested.

Thanks so much!
Gary

In an effort to make some money for the National, I've listed almost a hundred prewar items on ebay tonight, most of them with reasonable BIN prices. Many are lowgrade, but it's worth a look to most of you.

Happy hunting,

Tim

Selling an OJ Clark Griffith GAI 1 - $250. As you can see, she has some flaws, but its a great opportunity to pick up a tough HOFer from this set at a reasonable price. Email me if you are interested.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm offering my group of A35s on eBay right now...meant to alert y'all a little sooner, but plum forgot. Here's the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5103208531&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

In my humble, biased opinion, I think the minimum bid is a very good deal. But as now, the eBay buying public has spoken out to the contrary...

Jeff

available are 3 season ticket origonal artwork 1985 san francisco 49ers. one depicts dwight clark, one eric wright, and one unknown player (#55). they are beautiful, they are framed and matted, and would look wonderful in a den or office...i would like to sell or trade these three as a group.
also, available is one miami dolphins origonal season ticket artwork from the second game ever at joe robbie stadium, this is framed and matted with a phantom set of season tickets. also beautiful.
i will sell or trade.
regards to all!

Hi Gary B., Three Ruth cards which you may want to consider, which appear to match your selection criteria, are up for auction on eBay now. One is a 1927 Exhibit and the other two are a part of a lot of (12) W-517s. You may be able to get all three for a price within your budget. The W-517s are strip cards manufactured in 1931, and they come in various colors. The 1927 Exhibit is black and white.
