Up to 113 with this recent purchase.

I doubt George McQuillan imagined it at the time; however, he was playing for a team wouldn't win their first world championship until 97 years into their history. The Phillies would capture the NL Pennant in 1915, though. They won another pennant in 1950, too...so the team's first near-century wasn't all bad.

Most folks seem to keep viewing.

Many folks upgrade their number periodically.

A few folks report every card they buy or sell.

Rarely does anyone request being canceled completely.

This thread is nearly 10 years old and I am the only captain it has ever had. Complaints about the update frequency have been few and far between. A gentle reminder via PM would work better than a post such as this.

I will update the thread shortly, but remove you, Wid, from the list. With the current amount of activity, quarterly updates seem to work fine for the overwhelming majority.

Hi, Frank. No disrespect meant. it was not a complaint - I had no idea about the schedule of frequency updates when I made the post. I think the community appreciates that you keep this up to date.

Have you tried emailing the picture to yourself and then posting the pic from your computer?

While it may not work for every phone/computer, I found it to be a helpful workaround.

I've had good luck uploading the photo to Flickr, then posting from there to here.

My current # is 34.

Since I am only collecting portraits, I will (likely) never assemble the 520. Also, I have subtracted Wagner and Plank from my "100% target" because it is unlikely I will ever pick up those portraits. The Magee error is more realistic, but I am not including it in my spreadsheet for now.

My actual target is 1,650 unique front/back combos, which is all the portraits minus the 3 noted above, with all known backs. If more backs are found, then my number will change slightly. I have 34 unique fronts, and 39 front/back combos so far, though I've only really started this phase of my collection in the last 6 weeks or so, as I've been spending time clearing out non-portraits and moving through other parts of my collection accordingly.
