Which T206 Wagner will go for more? (Memory Lane / REA)
It'd be interesting to know what Wagner you think will sell for more. (Memory Lane on Left)

I prefer the REA one with the mark over the Memory Lane one with multiple creases.

With a card like this I think eye appeal means more than a technical grade. Even with the MK and the o/c name the REA one just looks better so I think that is what will be the determining factor. Heck, if you got a Wagner you want to be able to show it off!

I don't think the one in memory lane will sell, unless there's a flip number collector out there with deep pockets... I think Wags in poor condition is still worth about 350 to 450k, just my opinion though.

Looks like collectors looked at their options from REA and Memory Lane and decided that they really liked the Goodwin Wagner the best by far. It's now surpassed the 1million mark.

Agreed - I think it's going to turn out to be a better deal for the visual appeal.

Pete,
Nice poll. I think we're on the same page, and I had to post a similar (now a follow-up) question...will Memory Lane get the opening bid? Have a nice day, Steve |

Agree. I saw the poll has only 2 people going for memory lane.

Well, the Memory Lane one has been available for direct sales for 4+ months with no takers. Dropping the "starting bid" by $200k may fetch some attention, but it certainly seems to indicate that there was not market demand for Dr. Steve Soloway's card (I believe that is the origin of this particular Wagner) at the price level(s) that JP decided to go to market with the card.
