Default Hick Cady 1915 E145-2 Cracker Jack

This Hick Cady arrived in the mail this morning. It was graded Authentic by SGC which must have scared off a lot of buyers. I can't think of a better card for a lifetime Red Sox fan. The card softens the pain of the "lost weekend" in Texas for this year's Red Sox team.

A boardmember recently picked one up, and I then decided I should have this classic catcher pose card in my collection. Since there are only a handful of PCL cards left on my wantlist, and also only a few more cards on my type card list for the 7 major league catchers I collect, I have started adding a few beautiful examples of other major league players' cards such as the Bill Bergen E101 card as well as this Hick Cady card.

Nice Cady, I happened to just pick up a Cady as well. Very rare Underwood postcard series...

Default Nice Underwood & Underwood PC

Jeff,

Congrats on picking up the Underwood & Underwood PC. It shows that the image on the Cracker Jack of Cady reflects what he truly looked like.

That Cady CrackerJack is sweet. Might even consider resubmitting it, worst case it comes back authentic again.

Default Lajoie with Bat

@Mikehealer - That's a sweet Nap. At a PSA 2, I'm guessing there's some kind of adhesive (or the like) on the back that accounts for the grade. Regardless, a beautiful card.
