Nice Leon, I'm sure it was tough for him to part with that.

Default 1909 Carl Lewis Obak

This 1900 Carl Lewis T212-1 Obak arrived safe and sound yesterday morning after a rough trip from Texas. One edge of the card was trapped under the SGC black insert. Luckily, I always crack out the cards, and put them in a nice screwdown holder.

Thanks again Leon and Scott (B & L Auctions)

Patrick

Thanks for the kudos on the E221. I am sure the seller did have some postpartum sadness, Jeff, but the check he will be getting should help with that somewhat. Yes, it's my 3rd and I am very happy to add it to my collection. They don't come around every day.

Hi Jason,

I have not been to the Mansfield MA show in a few years now. When I used to go, all the dealers were selling newer cards. Is there more T-Card offering at this show now? If so, I need to check it out.

Thanks & nice pickup

I was pleasantly surprised with the variety at the show, as modern cards do tend to dominate. For the first time in a while, the material available was
close to 50/50. The dealer I purchased from had a large selection of raw and graded issues, including T206, T205, E90-1, E101, and R319. They had some 19th century items too, but I didn't make it to that end of their table.
