All of these Star Co. cards posted are graded by some of the smaller grading companies? Why is that? Do the 2 big guys not grade Star for some reason? |

I read that the Star printing plates were stolen and the cards were reprinted in great quantities in the early 90s. Too bad, nice images |

At one time PSA did grade them. SGC or BGS to my knowledge has never graded the cards. |

I loved those Star Co. cards. They were very colorful and very affordable compared to baseball. I'm not sure if there will ever be a market for them, though. |

To a teenager growing up in Chicago (even the chubby, short, white ones!), there was no one more magical! |

Dumb question but most of the cards show up as an x on my computer. Anything I can do to make these turn into a card? |

Jason -- Just curious how the Entemann's was distributed? |

I should know this more definitively, given my round-on-the-edges shape, my Chicago upbringing, and my propensity to enjoy baked goods from that company...However! |

Jason, I imagined inside clear plastic in boxes, I've just never seen them. Do you know if they ever issued other sports? I love the brand (their goodies), however I guess I wasn't eating their donuts back then. They have an absoutely huge factory complex here on Long Island. In fact the street that goes by it is called Entemann Way, or Blvd., or something similar. I've got a notion to go rooting through their dumpsters...for cards, not dessert food. |

I remember the first time I ever ate Entemann. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. They had the best chocolate cake I ever tasted. I forgot all |

Entemann's products are available in most Kroger stores, even in Texas, although the variety available is not as extensive as you get in the northeast. (Chocolate covered doughnuts are still great!) |

I would have thought Barry Sloate would have made a Seinfeld comment by now about digging dessert food out of the trash. |
