A few days ago the mail brought a large lot of 1979 Hostess panels that included the Dale Murphy / Jon Matlack / Bruce Bochte panel that I needed to complete my run of all 250 panels Hostess printed from 1975-1979.
Unlike completing vintage Bowman and Topps sets this endeavor was more than just how much money did I want to spend. Some of these are difficult to find. I took on this project when I found my shoebox of the panels I had from the 1970s when my mom brought boxes home. 5.5 years later I’m thrilled to be done.
