Silly question here so forgive me, but how was it checklisted if it’s never been seen before. I’m unfamiliar with that set.

I don’t think it’s ever been seen. Plenty of cards are known to be in a set but never seen (for example, Plow Candy Hal Chase to my chagrin). This is actually a huge pickup.

Finished one of my favorite 1950s sets by picking up Kell's Red Sox team variation at the National. Backs show an expiration date a full year after after the trade in question.

"May 23, 1954: Traded by the Boston Red Sox to the Chicago White Sox for Grady Hatton and $100,000."
