Default Autographed photo help

So I picked up a framed 8x10 autographed photo that is stuck to the glass, presumably due it being stored in a humid environment. I tried the heat gun approach on one corner but gave that up quickly when the photo started separating. From what I've read I can soak it since it is actual Kodak paper. Has anyone here tried this and if so, do you have any tips?

Default I’ve heard…..

Id be scared to soak autographed pieces. Some people have suggested the freezer? Never tried it myself ….. who knows, good luck with whatever you decide…

Default Don't soak...try the freezer

I've never heard of anyone soaking an autographed photo and having a positive result. I would try the freezer. But before you go to the trouble...I would question if those signatures are real. The Starr looks decent but the other are far from what you'd want to see (Forrest Gregg may be the best illustration of that, and Horning looks pretty off too)

The freezer works good on autographed items that are stuck to those old adhesive pages in binders that collectors used to use. I've used it and 90% of the time it seems to do the trick

The freezer method failed as well. After speaking with a local photo shop I've decided to just leave it.

Good decision in my opinion.
