+1. When I pick up my types for '14s and '15s they will have some, not too distracting, staining. I don't want 1914s that don't have staining. They have cleaned away their heritage. To each their own, but I would leave the stains alone....

This is from my last collection. As for visual look, this is what I like to see.

A Cracker Jack card without stains is almost blasphemy. It may sound crazy, but since Im not in it for the money, if I had a choice between a near mint CJ with zero stains and a mid to low grade with stains, Id choose the latter any day of the week. Its a huge part of what makes them so special.

For all of you who disdain the lack of stains, this Cracker Jack is for you.

Brian
I said stains. Holes are a whole other collector base.
Lots of '14s in auction right now but they usually go for a bid more than I want to pay LOL...most of them aren't super rare, just expensive (for guys on budgets)
.

I am such a hole collector, even if the cards are not Cracker Jacks.

Brian (I believe my collector preferences are now so well known that some folks just refer to me as 'A-Hole'. I assume that is where they came up with this nickname for me)

I love Cracker Jacks--I have a bunch of '15s, but only two '14s, unfortunately.

It is a fine unfortunate thing to only own 1914 Cracker Jacks of Wagner and Speaker.

Brian (I do own a 1914 Cracker Jack Comiskey, which I guess makes me the fine unfortunate owner of an owner)
