Nice! Tomorrow will be a month they have had my cards. I think throwing some Japanese cards into the mix might have slowed down my order....

Remains to be seen, but a few days at most I imagine.

Mine's finally getting close!

Submitted - 11/27
Received - 12/4
Post-Grading - 1/12
Grading & Shipment - ?

They decided not to grade my Calbee Homerun cards (even after I made a 400-card photo-reference website for them), but for a hot second they considered it, as I saw 3 of them switch from "Do Not Grade No Charge" to the actual card info, before they ultimately changed them back to "Do Not Grade".

And as for the processing time discrepancy on my order....well, I am keeping SGC on their toes. Besides confusing them with my Calbee Homerun cards, three other cards had slowed down the order:

1) One card is now entered as "Hand cut" (so maybe there was a decision to be made about that)
2) One card was a stamped "Prize" card (in the same vein of the Cablee Homerun cards, but Yamakatsu factory-stamped a logo on the back) that I assume they had to decide whether to grade and how to label
3) The final troublesome card was from a 1957 set, but the player was from 1958, so it probably required a decision on renaming the whole set. I do see that it has been entered as 1958 on my invoice

Now to wait for grades to populate......

Yeah, I threw a Wheaties card into the mix and that’s probably what held me up.

Mine was also received on 12/19/23, but shipped on 1/2/24, so very similar results.

Just like PSA, took them until the next year!

SGC makes others look soooooo bad!

I sent some cards to SGC a couple months ago after eBay authentication said my raw 1970 Nolan Ryan was trimmed. It took 2 weeks and 1 day from the day they received the cards to the day I had the cards back in hand. With PSA it would have been 3 months or more.

Yeah...as the old saying goes....

"If you'd like to enjoy your graded collection....send them to SGC"

"If you'd like your grandchildren to enjoy your graded cards....send them to the West Coast!

I sent in a few cards on Christmas Eve, and they were finished yesterday. Considering Christmas and New Years, this wasn't bad and I am extremely happy with their turn around times.

I was concerned about the overprint on the back of the 33 Goudey for Grimm, but it didn't count against the card - I'm pleased with that - pictures attached.

My 36 sport stamp of Foxx looks great in it's new holder.

Forgive me for including a newer card in the thread, but I couldn't resist showing off this Acuna!
