I’m almost certain I’ll never own a bonafide McGwire gamer but I sorta like this broken fungo and the story that goes with it better, anyway.
The story goes that in 1997 at the Kingdome, McGwire was messing around with this fungo during batting practice, trying to see how far he could hit a ball with it. The bat broke. The guy I obtained it from was a child at the time and, with a friend, asked for and received the pieces of the bat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This caught my eye. Looks like someone bought it. It's more than I've ever paid for a bat but, given the current climate, it didn't seem like an outrageous price.
