I picked up a couple of 1937 Goudey R342 Thum-Movie books of Joe Medwick

I'd never heard of these until I saw them in an auction. Learning something every day.

For those who aren't familiar with them they're a series of photos in a book that you thumb through to see the player bat, field, etc. A 1937 equivalent of an animated GIF. :-)
