For all you in it for the money guys...why bother and pay for the privilege of submitting your cards to be sealed in plastic with a bar code? You have a free service right here on this forum. If someone put up a fake or altered or trimmed or whatever, it would be figured out by the many experts here in no time. That being the case, there must not be much that gets through the AH or eBay. I am not being facetious. So why bother?

So as of today we should be able to submit cards on our own for $100?

Well, I like to get my cards graded by SGC because I like the way they look and display in the case. That, and when the day comes where I kick the bucket, my family will have some semblance of an idea as to what they are looking at and dealing with should they decide to sell. I can guarantee none of them know about or would know how to find this forum.

I have about 50 cards I was considering sending to SCG although I was told that they are not grading exhibit size cards yet. Has anyone had any dealings with them? I figured, given the history of comic grading, it's a good alternative at this point.
