Rose has a valid point, but I don't agree with it.
Betting's rule and punishment was explicit, and he agreed to the punishment. I also assume he is still lying. Though, in agreement with him sort of, I think the Astro's punishment wasn't harsh enough. I'm one for voiding the World Series win, and punishing the players . . . However, punishment for all the Astros is the win will always be tainted, and they can't ever say the won the WS without people bringing up the cheating.

And it may not be a lifetime ban for the coaches and GM, but I don't think they're finding work any time soon. The players involved may find baseball's doors closed after retirement as well. Just ask Beltran.
