From my copy of Tales of Suspense #57 published in 1964.



It’s supposed to be a picture of a Strat-O-Matic Baseball ad. My apologies. Im struggling with the photo upload.

Let's get the correct nomenclature.

In the comics circle, this would be know as an "FA" of Larry McPhail in a comic (First Appearance). Depending on the content, it could be his "origin" as well.

Excellent! Thanks for the tutorial! I should use the "FA" nomenclature to supplant "rookie" or "earliest" for my baseball HOF collection. I'm on it!

And a really good baseball card is a "star" card. A comic of some importance (usually a FA) is known as a "key".
