Glad I didn't throw a bid in. The photos are clearly authentic original snapshots. Anyone know where those cert stickers are from?

I first saw this grouping of original snapshots back in Aug. from Steve Grad twitter account. I didn't realize they went to Goodwill auction? Did he reject them? Auth. them as good? or just posted about the items?

Someone in a facebook group said they had saw them
Earlier in the summer on goodwill. So I'm wondering if they sold them and the buyer sent them to PSA. Found out they weren't good and then returned them to goodwill.

Wonder why Grad would even post them to Twitter if PSA rejected them?

Grad's comment on Twitter would seem to indicate he thinks they are authentic. "More amazing #relics that I get to see, original signed snapshots."
No inference that they are bad from his Twitter comment, though that could be a reaction if seeing them quickly and not sitting down with them in front of you.
If PSA did authenticate them why is no COA pictured in the Goodwill auction?
I have my doubts about their authenticity.

Perhaps because Goodwill took them without questioning the authenticity??

Goodwill will take anything, they sell autographs all the time. I'm wondering who gave them to Goodwill and why? Especially if they had just been at PSA within the last couple months.

I've got suspicion that they came back bad and whoever submitted them just gave them to Goodwill.

I know Goodwill is a charity or whatever but I also believe they have a responsibility to return money that may be ill gotten.

I wonder what the original owner paid for the lot before sending it to PSA.

They are still nice snapshots.Worth something, regardless of fake autos.Of course, not as much.

Clubhouse signatures?

I think if you pay by credit card you'll be okay. Almost always the credit card company will protect you.

If you want to hide something from the hobby I would think Goodwill would be the place to go. If the seller thought they were authentic there are so many auction houses that would give them much better exposure and sell them for much more money than Goodwill could possibly hope to get.

The fact they showed up at Goodwill means the money all goes to Goodwill. Someone donated these items to them.
