"If that were a t206 you could retire"
I own t206 cards and don't have a problem with them, but sometimes their prices are quite disproportionate to the rest of the hobby.
I have shown and seen cards shown where someone has the response along the lines of "Man, if that was a t206 you could retire". So I would like to see these cards. Misprints, Miscuts, Rare Backs, HOFer with less quantities known than it's t206 counterpart. HOF with two backs and another player name on top (Ford). Misaligned front registration, along with a double printed back I have more, but I will stick to these for now and allow more to be shown.

Is that a recent pickup? I thought I recall seeing that recently (past year) in an auction.

E121-80 "Frank" Baker version rather than the more common "J. Franklin" Baker. I could be wrong, but I believe there are only 2 other "Frank" versions confirmed and they have the Type 2 back. Mine is the first confirmed with the Type 3 back.

These one of a kind...2 in the case of the miller...blank backed, hand cut..."T206's"...with the equivalent of a rare back like a Lennox or uzit...but blank!
Worth loaded vw GTI money...maybe? |

My pale friend Mr. Stone would bring a king's ransom if he were a T206. Alas, as a poor E92, he is relegated to red-headed step-child treatment (no offense intended towards any red-headed step-children amongst the membership).

the return of the quarter..
How about a red W572 Ralph Perkins (next to a regular one), a Metro Star O'Farrell and a wet sheet transfer Doak? If these were even common T206s, can you imagine?

I tried trading/selling the top one once and the offers were truly disappointing, which is why I still have it. The bottom card would be unique to T206's I believe with that front cut, showing three cards

1913 Oakland Oaks
Here is part of the description from the LOTG auction when I bought it:
"Similar in size and appearance to the Zeenut cards of the era, the method of distribution of these cards is largely lost to history, the 20-card set containing no nationally-known players. Still highly sought after by prewar collectors, this is one of fewer than 30 graded examples from the entire issue, and the highest-graded of just two cards of Abbott. A very difficult type card." If this was a highest graded out of a two graded population T206, out of only 30 total graded in the series? Man, I would still be getting kudos for acquiring it (see my October pick-up of a really beat/trimmed Mitze from the same series).

Probably couldn't retire from it, but a t206 with a crop mark might carry a premium. Front is Carrigan.
