There was a dealer at the Philly show approx. 1-2 years ago that was selling one with full orange borders. He offered it to me at around $5000. Probably should have taken the plunge but passed.

I like the full body pose that was on ebay better than this one. Had it had full borders I might have given it a go and then sold this one. But I like this one too...

Yep, the "batting" variation of that Wagner is definitely catalogued as I've needed that card and 6 commons to finish off my Orange Border set for quite some time now. I do know of two other collectors who are just as far along if not closer to finishing the set than myself who already have that Wagner batting pose however.

Here's the Wagner variation I do have though. I think you see this one around a little more although neither show up often at all. Great shot of Wagner in this variation, I think I'd have to say I like this pose a bit more

when i saw this post a few days ago i assumed it was the portrait-esque pose as this is the only pose i've seen in the orange borders. i like the batting pose...it's kinda like the pose on the green w555 look a like cards. to me it's just another example of an obscure...pretty rare card that doesn't appeal to many due to it's obscurity which seems to keep the price down.

although in this case it seems if better advertised many here had interest!

A 500% markup sounds about right. I offered $500 just now. I hope he takes it.
