I listed a 1911 E94 George Close Candy Sherry Magee in an SGC 84 (http://www.19thcenturyonly.org/site/bid/bidplace.asp?itemid=4120). When writing the description I accessed the SMR online and they price a NM Magee E94 at $25,000. The auction went live today and a customer of 19thCenturyOnly emailed me to let me know that he thought the price might be a typo in the SMR online. I have contacted PSA, but do not yet have a reply. I was wondering if anyone can provide insight into whether the SMR online has an accurate price. Thank you in advance for your opinion. |

Sherry Magee PSA 5 9000 PSA 6 14000 PSA 7 25000 PSA 8 50000 PSA 9 100000 You are correct! However, not knowing this set intimately, from an outsiders view, it is odd that the Wagner is only $17,500 in PSA 7 and Cobb $25,000 in PSA 7. Is the Byrne and Magee super rare for some reason because these are both valued (in the SMR as PSA 7s) at $25,000. Best of luck with your auctions! Take care, DR |

easy solution.... you dont have to mention book/smr values in your listing. you can simply delete that line. problem solved. |

I took your suggestion and removed the SMR pricing information from the lot. If I get confirmation from PSA that the SMR value is $25,000 I will replace the information back into the description. Thank you. |

Seth...just my opinion for what its worth...I would have to think its better not to have the SMR value listed at all on any lots. The guys going after these cards know what they are worth...and SMR is so off base anyway...if someone went by the SMR proposed values it could actually hurt you...just my two cents. |

Msgee is a very tough card in the set. Perhaps this is reflected in the SMR although 25k seems way too high. I am guessing closer to 7.5k for a 7. |
