I have seen past posts (did a search) for t207 blank backs on net54 and came upon the t207 blank back find post from 2005. It sounds like there were a lot of them on the market a few years ago, but I believe they have since dried up. In the past year, I have seen or know of 5 blank backed t206's that traded hands, including my current blank back t206. As for beyond / earlier than this past year is what I was wondering about, because i just got back into the hobby about a year ago. I was wondering about the broad scope of maybe a few years to 10 years of Blank Back history if anyone knows.....Thanks for the input so far. |

jason- as funny as robert's statement sounds, i can relate to it for sure...i would consider myself an advanced T206 back collector, and an authentic (unskinned) "blank back" eluded me for so long. i just recently did a trade with a fellow board member for a clean vg example of a common T206 (it appears to be hand-cut), and i am very excited to finally have a blank back in my "stable". |

I just checked out Frank's site, but he does not have scans on there. Also, he stated that he is not selling cards this summer. |

Ok, now that I know there are plenty out there, what do you guys think a poor condition one that looks vg-ex (but hand cut) with the obvious defect that brings it down is a small tear? |

Guys, all the t207s with blank backs I've seen are hand cut. |

i have a mcgraw that's hand cut...reasonably well. I don't think they're that common...they're just around cause theres not much interest...and maybe some suspicion. I DO think they're much rarer than t206 blank backs. |
