At the Minnesota Historical Society, there is currently a Hall of fame Exhibit. I went today not knowing what to expect. I thought they may have a few bobbles, or trinkets. Or tons of modern junk. Wow..what a surprise !! Way too many things to talk about here, Ruths record setting bat, trophys belonging to Gehrig..many medals and awards given to Mike King Kelly etc. etc. Very impressive. I would strongly encourage anyone from the Minnesota area to go. A Honus Wagner 206 was on display. Very nice card. Cards was not their strength though...I had many better than theirs....... though I do not own a 206 Wagner. Bummer.... , they got me there, but I would highly recommend going. Very beautifully displayed. It takes about two hours to go through it. |
