Help dating a vintage baseball photo

Any idea on era of this photo? The glove and uniform look pretty old to me, maybe turn of the century? but I am just an amateur, and I know there are some Photography experts on this board.
Also, do you guys thinks this is a female ball player, or just a really infemninate male?
